You may have noticed a change in your email inbox this week – you have not received SGO Women’s Cancer News email briefings daily. This was not by error. In response to issues highlighted from our membership regarding the validity and credibility of articles curated for Women’s Cancer News from our prior vendor, we have opted to move in an exciting new direction with this member benefit. We are now partnering with Association Briefings to bring you a newly formatted and monitored briefing.
Moving forward, you will receive a weekly email briefing, highlighting the week’s relevant journal articles, news articles, and SGO happenings. By moving to a weekly newsletter, we have the ability to oversee the content, credibility, and summaries that reach our members. As members, you will also have greater control over the content you are viewing; in the near future, you will be able to tailor the newsletter to meet your interests and needs. We are further able to highlight articles from our journal, Gynecologic Oncology and Gynecologic Oncology Reports, and spotlight the educational and networking opportunities available through SGO. We believe that this format will better meet the goal of this member benefit, which is providing you with valuable updated science and news.
We are confident that this new format will better serve our shared PURPOSE (patient care, unity, research, philanthropy, overcoming obstacles, strategic leadership, and equity).
