Recap: 2021 Virtual Minimally Invasive Surgery Workshop for Fellows

Course directors Emma Rossi, MD, and Josh Cohen, MD, along with trainers from Intuitive Surgical, welcomed over 60 fellows for SGO’s first-ever virtual MIS course on Friday, May 21. Attendees had the unique opportunity to view virtual demonstrations from inside Intuitive’s Atlanta, GA training center with lectures from the course directors and tips, tricks, and pearls from other attendings.
SGO and Intuitive Surgical are currently collaborating and preparing for the return to in-person instruction with cadaver lab in 2022. Program directors and fellows, please be sure to closely follow SGO communications for more details in the coming months regarding future in-person opportunities.
