Introducing the Move4Her 2021 Emcee: Ebony Hoskins, MD

We are thrilled to announce Ebony Hoskins, MD, will be the emcee this year for the Foundation for Women’s Cancer (FWC) Move4Her event on Sept. 26, 2021! Dr. Hoskins joins international fitness celebrity host Kathy Smith for the one-hour event filled with fun energizing moves for all levels and powerful personal stories. We hope you will join many of your peers for this exciting and important event. Join or create an institutional team and help FWC raise funds for gynecologic cancer research, education and awareness efforts.

Dr. Hoskins is a board-certified gynecologic oncologist at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and she has practiced gynecologic oncology for 10 years, during which time she has carefully refined her medical and surgical skills. Dr. Hoskins sees women for gynecological malignancies, which include the treatment of endometrial, ovarian, vulva, and cervical cancers; treating women with complex gynecological surgical issues; and minimally invasive surgical options. She has completed more than 600 complex benign and malignant gynecologic surgeries using the robotic surgery technique. Her research interests include health disparity in women of African descent diagnosed with endometrial cancer and improving overall survival in women with ovarian cancer.

She is a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologist, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Hoskins has been named a Washingtonian and Northern Virginia Top Doctor and received the APGO Excellence in Teaching Award in 2021.
