Quality Indicators
The SGO recognizes the importance of continuous quality improvement in clinical practice. SGO subject matter experts on ovarian, endometrial and cervical cancers studied current evidence-based research to determine a list of quality indicators for each of these malignancies.
Quality Organizations
The SGO continues to collaborate with fellow organizations to help improve the quality of women’s health care. We are working with the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) to test gynecologic oncology measures in their Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI) program. The SGO and the Commission on Cancer are working together to move toward NQF endorsement of gynecologic oncology measures utilizing NCDB data.
