The Professional Education and Meetings Team is responsible for the development and execution of all SGO education deliverables, including face-to-face events, webinars, podcasts, and more. Education team members work closely with SGO’s Education Committee and sub-committees, overseeing content development by facilitating the abstract grading process for SGO’s larger events, and session design for smaller events. All Education content from past events can be found on the recently updated SGO ConnectEd. Meetings team members work in conjunction with the Education Professionals to coordinate all event logistics for face-to-face, hybrid, and virtual events. The Meetings team oversees event contracts, registration, housing, and vendors to ensure the attendee experience always exceeds expectations and sets the bar higher every year.
