Abstracts for the SGO 2025 Winter Meeting

Abstract submissions will be open from September 5, 2024 to October 11, 2024.

SGO Winter Meeting Submission Rules and Regulations

  • Submitting authors must be a current student, resident or fellow as of January 1, 2025.
  • Abstracts and manuscripts that have been previously presented at a national or international meeting are not eligible for submission.
  • An individual abstract may only be submitted for consideration at the Annual or Winter meetings, not both.
  • An abstract must have a title that indicates the nature of the investigation. Example: The current clinical use of HPV genotyping.
    1. Each abstract submission must clearly identify the following:
    2. Objective(s): an introductory sentence indicating the purpose of the study
    3. Methods: a brief description of pertinent experimental procedures, including statistical evaluation where appropriate
    4. Results: a summary of the data
    5. Conclusions: a statement of the conclusions
  • The title and abstract should omit any reference to your institution to ensure a blinded review.
  • Trade names should not be used.
  • Submission of an abstract constitutes a commitment by the author to present, if accepted.
  • Acceptance and decline notices will be sent in early November 2024.
  • A maximum of 25 authors are allowed per submission.
  • The character count limit of 2,500 does not include your abstract title, author string, allotted tables or graphs or spaces.
