Last year, Dr. Pringl Miller edited a symposium for the journal Narrative Inquiry in Bioethics that featured narratives by women surgeons. Emerging from the collection are stories ranging from sexism to sexual assault, from respect to safety to equal opportunity, representing the range of #MeToo initiatives and concerns in the microcosm of surgery. Dr. Temkin wrote a key narrative and was responsible for making the journal issue open access. In this dynamic webinar, we will challenge our guests to try to define the next steps: is it action? broadening to intersectionality? promoting institutional change?
