Bowel Resection in Gynecologic Cancer: From Fundamentals to Mastery
This webinar will focus on foundational principles of safe and effective bowel resection in gynecologic oncology surgery. Content will include technical specifications for equipment with a focus on bowel staplers, important anatomic considerations and fundamental steps of small bowel resection, rectosigmoid resection and associated anastomoses. Troubleshooting, common pitfalls and pearls of wisdom from experts will be presented.
This webinar, being organized by the SGO Surgical Education Subcommittee, is targeted to the junior surgeon who desires more confidence in these procedures and for the senior surgeon who desires a review of the tenets associated with high surgical quality. Content will be presented live and there will be an opportunity to submit questions to the presenters.
