NIH Gender and Health Scientific Workshop, Abstract Submissions Due July 18

Save the date for a virtual workshop presented by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of Research on Women’s Health (ORWH) titled “Gender and Health: Impacts of Structural Sexism, Gender Norms, Relational Power Dynamics, and Gender Inequities” scheduled for Oct. 26, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. ET.

This virtual scientific workshop will convene the extramural community, NIH scientific and program staff, and other stakeholders to discuss methods and best practices in biomedical and sociobehavioral research on gender roles, gender norms, gender inequity, and structural sexism.

Poster abstracts focused on gender and health are being accepted now through July 18. Selected abstracts will be presented in a virtual poster gallery. The top three posters will be featured in a live presentation during the workshop. Submit an abstract using this form.
