I'm looking for

Recognizing the need for wellness resources for our trainees and members, the SGO Wellness Committee designed and piloted an initial Fellowship Wellness Curriculum with a generous grant from ABOG. The exceedingly positive results of this pilot were subsequently published.  Expanding upon this, the SGO Wellness Committee has developed a 10-module curriculum with topics based on established wellness concepts as well as specialty-specific stressors such as end of life discussions. Modules include guided discussion, multimedia presentations, and/or journaling, as well as take-home concepts and exercises to combat burnout.

In addition to the course content, each 60-minute module provides a detailed Facilitator’s Guide, additional resources, and a QR code for post-module feedback.

For fellowship programs, the 10 modules are designed to be a recurring two-year curriculum during fellowship. The modules can be utilized during didactic sessions approximately every six weeks over a recurring two-year timeframe.
